We know that this picture must have been taken in 1929 or later as that is the year that Hartwell Davis’ Garage was built.  Hartwell’s Garage is the last building as you go down the street, shown in this picture.  Hartwell was the fire chief and also stored the fire equipment in his garage.  In the 1960’s this building became Friendship Plumbing and Heating and later apartments for three families.  Most recently, in 2011, it became the property of The Friendship Museum to be used for expansion and storage.

You can see the steeple of the Methodist Church on the left.  Coming up the road on the right is Bird Jameson’s grocery store.   The Masonic Hall, Chad Simmons’ home and Ray Winchenpaw ‘s Store are the next three buildings.
