This 1920s’ photo shows Mansfield’s Sardine Factory in the center; it was taken from the south side of Sawyer’s Cove at the campground also known as Henry’s Point. The factory was located at the south end of present day Bluenose Street. It was owned and operated by George Frederick Mansfield.

The building on the left of the photo was C. H. Mansfield’s Fish Packing, owned and operated by Charles Henry Mansfield, who was a brother to George Frederick Mansfield. The C. H. Mansfield’s Fish Packing building was located at Mansfield’s Corner on Sawyer’s Square.
