Hear fascinating behind-the-scenes stories about our postcard collection in this in-depth look at our exhibit. The postcard craze in America, roughly 1905 to 1915, prompted the founding of many postcard companies. In Maine photographers shot otherwise overlooked small towns and rural life, creating a highly personal and intimate portrait of our state.
