This is a document from the CLARISSA B. CARVER under the command of Captain Leroy Dow’s until 1885. On June 7th his beloved ship was sunk by another ship called the GLENMORGANSHIRE. This document lists all of the discharged crew members aboard the ship when it was struck on June 7th, 1885. This list also lists the payment for everyone that was on the ship. The total for all the people on board was $352.41. This paper was used to show just how much the crew members (16 members) were owed when the ship was damaged.
