The Chinese art of porcelain making has many different variations. As seen in the picture above, Porcelain was often hand crafted into fine Chinese tea sets, dishes and plates, with intricately painted scenes which could contain ornate flowers and symbolic creatures. Chinese pottery and porcelain was significant in the cultural history of China. Porcelain has been an important feature in China since it was originated in (25-219 A.D.) during the Zhejiang Dynasty. The first creations of Porcelain in China originated with the discovery of petuntse, which is a stone containing Quartz and Muscovite. These two ingredients made is plausible to create a strong structure called Porcelain.
