Narrated Slideshow with Captain David Gelinas of Up River: Selections from the Captain Bill Abbott Collection

Using selections from Up River: Selections from the Captain Bill Abbott Collection, Captain Gelinas will discuss the history of the Pen Bay Pilots and how the Maine’s State Pilotage System is practiced on Penobscot Bay. He will also share stories about Captain Bill Abbott who mentored him when he became a pilot.
Up River: Selections from the Captain Bill Abbott Collection will be on display April 2 through April 28 at Camden Public Library. The exhibit will also be on display on our campus for the 2022 season beginning May 27.
