SUMMARY:Homeschool Days
DESCRIPTION:Homeschool families are invited to Penobscot Marine Museum for a museum visit featuring hands-on educational activities for all ages. Participants will tour the Fowler-True-Ross House to hear about Searsport sea captains and their families. The visit will also include a craft and free time in the hands-on Savage Education Center. Young participants can meet Mr. Ropes\, Penobscot Marine Museum’s puppet ambassador\, who is based on a real cat who went to sea in 1892. All homeschool day participants can help haul the yard and furl the sails during the Set Sail Demonstration. After the structured part of the day ends at 12:30pm\, participants are invited to explore on their own or find items on a scavenger hunt. \nCost: $5/person\, $20/family. \nRegistration required. \n			\n				Register
