DESCRIPTION:May 12; 4pm-6pm\nA Salty Upbringing: Tales of Maritime Mothers\nFowler True Ross\nCost: Free\, donations welcome \nA Midcoast Maine mother reared her children at sea or at least close to the water’s edge.  In later years\, she sent her sons off to be captains and crew and her daughters to be captain’s wives.  Hear our troop of young actors tell the tales of the mothers depicted in portraits from the Museum collection and tour our Sea Captain’s home. This program is in partnership with the Searsport District Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society.
