Tasks: Help furl sails on the mast and operate the capstan

Requirements: Physical strength and a strong, clear voice

Commitment: Flexible; approximately 2 hours per week May–October

Programs & Special Events Assistance

Tasks: Supervise crafts and activities, run story time, participate in parades, and assist with setup

Requirements: Comfort working with children and interest in childhood education

Commitment: Minimum 3 hours per week, mostly May–October

Living History Role Player

Tasks: Portray historic sailors, captains, or family members at museum events

Requirements: Interest in history and performance

Commitment: 1–2 museum events (late June and/or mid-October), plus preparation time at home
