Time travel with the Penobscot Marine Museum for a Roaring ‘20s Tea! Enjoy tea, sandwiches, scones, and sweets catered by Splendiferous Sweet Shoppe. Plus, there will be a costume contest, selfie booth, and time to socialize. Flappers and dapper Dans are welcome and costumes are encouraged. If you want to get in the ‘20s spirit a little more, you can bring a little tipple for your tea.

This season at Penobscot Marine Museum, we’ve been commemorating the 100th anniversary of Roll and Go: Songs of American Sailormen. Author and Searsport native Joanna Colcord gained first-hand knowledge of sea chanteys and sailors’ songs during her childhood at sea, but it wasn’t until the 1920s that she decided to collect them and write them down. Join Penobscot Marine Museum and Splendiferous Sweet Shoppe to step back into Searsport in the 1920s.
