Sailors’ Knot Wreath Workshop
Starting with a single piece of cotton rope, create your own sailors’ knot wreath! This workshop is led by Penobscot Marine Museum Education Director Jeana Ganskop. During the first half of the workshop, participants will have the option of instruction and practice tying a flat Turk’s head knot. Then participants will make their wreaths. Start times are staggered to allow personal instruction and assistance. Individuals may require more or less than the scheduled time.
Beginners are encouraged to attend both this workshop and the Sailors’ Knot Ornament workshop on November 15. Use coupon code BOTH for combined workshop fee discount.
