  • Maine Postcard Project

    Cost of Maine Postcard Project: Free

    Write postcards to friends and family using postcards designed by Libby Bischoff featuring historic and contemporary images of Maine. Libby provides the stamps!
    Libby’s Maine Postcard Project is part of the Maine 2014 Anti que Paper Show, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm in the First Congregational Church Vestry, 8 Church Street, admission $2.

  • Create Your Own Tintype

    Saturday, Aug 13, tintypes taken between 10 am and 4 pm.

    Create your own beautiful family heirloom by having your “antique” tintype taken.
    Tintype portraits are $40 per tintype, which includes a 2-for-1 museum admission. Space limited, call 207-548-0334 to reserve a time.

  • Last Night At The Museum

    Sat, Oct 15, 5 pm to 7 pm, tours every 15 minutes, Fowler-True-Ross Sea Captain’s House
    Tickets $5 adults, $3 children.

    Bring your flashlight for a family-friendly spooky good time. Hear the hair-raising stories and meet the spirits of sea captains lost at sea, the widows waiting for the husbands to return, and young boys who left as crew never to return. Walk through the Sea Captain’s House one last time before the night watchmen close it up for the winter.

  • Victorian Christmas

    Our Ship Captain’s house is beautifully decorated for the holidays and filled with live music and holiday-themed readings. Town of Searsport’s Tree Lighting And Carol Sing are on Friday night.
