An illustrated talk by Diana Chapin of The Heirloom Garden of Maine on how gardening has changed over the course of American history. U.S.C.G.A. “About Boating Safely” Course
Darrell Gilman, U.S. Coast Guard Axillary, teacher. This ten hour course teaches specific laws and regulations, handling boating emergencies, safety practices, navigation rules, general boat maintenance and more. The last class is the exam for the Boating Safely Course Certificate. The course runs from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on June 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25. Register online or call 207-548-2529.
