Celebrating Searsport’s rich Maritime tradition, volunteers will bring local history to life with dramatic readings or reenactments of newspaper stories of bravery, shipwrecks, daring rescues, and other adventures on the high seas! Bring your family and come take a deep dive into the sea-goers life as we travel through time.

Volunteer actors will be stationed in entranceways and other locations throughout our three-acre campus. Attendees will walk around the campus to hear the stories presented by the actors. Registration is not required. Ripped from the Headlines programming is included with Museum Admission.
