Enjoy a reading of Tish Rabe’s There’s a Map on My Lap followed by a compass rose game and craft, a special visit to the Where in the World exhibit, and a pirate’s map treasure hunt.

Beginning with a reading of Captain’s Castaway, participants will also enjoy visiting the animals photograph exhibit, making a wildlife feeder to take home, and more.

Discover the history and science of ice harvesting in Maine with this Museum by Mail kit. Kit includes real images of Maine ice harvesting, a BINGO game, craft supplies, plus a science experiment! Choose how you and your kids participate: DIY with included instructions, watch the video on Youtube, or join us on Zoom at 11am on February 17th. Links provided with registration. Perfect for ages 6-10, adult help may be needed. Register by February 11th to ensure materials arrive before Zoom workshop.
