Part 1- Traditional Fiber Arts Series: Abbie Clifford’s Stockings
ZoomThis class will explore the world of Abbie Clifford, a sea captain’s wife from Stockton Springs, Maine, through her knitting. In the first session, we will examine a pair of Abbie’s hand-knit stockings that survive in the Penobscot Marine Museum’s collection and try out her lace design.
